Cancellation of the Vic H.O.G. Rally
We are sorry to announce that the recent coronavirus outbreak and spread have necessitated the cancellation of the planned 2020 Victorian State H.O.G. Rally. The Rally has been impacted by the mandated closure of our venues and the recently announced Federal Government ban on non-essential indoor gatherings of more than 100 people.
This decision has not been taken lightly and it comes as a huge disappointment to the Dandenong Chapter and particularly the members of the Rally Organising Committee but obviously the perfect storm of events has conspired to make this action unavoidable.
We intend to refund all monies that have been paid for Rally Registration Fees, Camping Site Fees, Rally Merchandise purchases and any Member Jungle processing or service fees charged. We will contact you shortly to obtain banking details to transfer the funds back into your account.
The Raffle is still going ahead as planned because we have sold some tickets and purchased the raffle prizes, as a result we will not be issuing refunds for Raffle Tickets purchased. In fact we would ask that you consider converting some of your refund credits into raffle ticket purchases. It’s an opportunity to win some great prizes for very little outlay. We will check if you are interested in this option when we contact you for your refund account details.
We are sorry to be the bearers of this bad news and will be back in touch in a few days regarding details needed to process your refund. In the meantime we ask that you please do not apply for a refund through your bank or credit card provider as these reversals will complicate our refund process and add more fees. We can assure you that we are going to transfer the full price paid to you directly from our account.
